Still Life with Compotier 1879-1882 Cezanne

This painting displays a white to silver bowl with dark green grapes and four oranges to the foreground of the painting. The background has a kind of stone effect, like a carving with leafs carved to the top left and right with shades of silver almost looking like ice.

There are also shades of green which could be a reflection from the green fruits. The platform which the bowl stands on is brown stone flags with different shades of brown. The apples have a rich green and red color with detailed lines making them stand out. There is a glass with water that stands out beautifully because of the lines that defines the shape of the glass.

The cloth that the fruits are on has detailed lines with different shades of colors, with a knife placed just below the apples. There is a strong line of black to brown and light brown dividing the stones from the foreground. All the objects have defined lines which bring out the beauty of this painting.

I put the comment here. It was just say that that I appreciate your attempts at doing some compositional analysis here and I like the level of detail that you have gone into.
